I received a B.S. degree from Bowling Green State University, and my M.A. (1991) and Ph.D. (1998) from Kent State University in Ohio.  I completed a pre-doctoral clinical internship at the Northwest Ohio Consortium in Toledo, Ohio.

I have over 20 years of extensive training and experience in providing psychotherapy, assessment and evaluation services to individuals, couples, and families.   I have been in private practice in Fort Wayne, Indiana since 1997.  My other education and credentials are contained in my  Curriculum Vita (in PDF format) or Curriculum Vita (in MS Word format).

I maintain a clinical practice working with adolescents (age 14 years and older) and adults and offer primarily individual, psychotherapy. I may occoasionally work with couples or families with whom I have previously worked. At this time I am not accepting new couples or family therapy cases.

I have special interest in working with persons dealing with anxiety, post-traumatic stress, anger management, psychological factors affecting medical illness, chronic pain, coping with chronic medical illness, depression, and gender identity and sexual orientation issues. I am affirming of LGBTQ individuals and provide referral letters when appropriate for individuals transitioning.
